What does “Irasshai” mean?

"Irasshai" in Japanese means Welcome with the sense of respect and honor from the shop owner. You can hear sales personal or employees in restaurant saying “Irasshaimasse!” to every customer entering a shop or a restaurant. It sounds cheerful and respectful.

What kind of Japanese good does IRASSHAI carry?

Our philosophy is to provide handmade item coming from different areas of Japan, made of natural materials such as wood, bamboo or grass, which can be used for our daily life such as bath tub, wooden cutting board or tatami mat. We really focus on the concept of eco-responsible commitment.

Are there any showroom?

We sell only on line. We don't have any showroom.

Which shipping company do you use?

For more safety and efficiency, we deliver our products via the transport company FedEx.

What is the shipping and handling cost to my country?

Shipping cost is TOTALLY FREE, it is included in the sale price. 

Do you ship worldwide?

Yes we do, we have a lot of experience of worldwide shipping. 

What about the custom tax?

The custom tax is the responsibility of the customer. the custom tax depends on the country of the delivery. If you want to know more about import duties, we advice to contact customs of your country.

Are the items showing on this website updated?

Yes, we update information on our website very often as we update our inventory.

I am looking for a specific Japanese products but I can't find it.

Not all items we have in our collection are on our website, please feel free to contact us.

All our products are authentic Japanese items, Guaranteed Made In Japan.

Order and payment

What is the mode of payment?

The customer can pay by credit card following the payment instruction, on shopify, the payment mode id very safe and controlled.

How can I cancel my order?

If you pass an order and you realize that your order is not wanted. You have to inform our shop before we send the product. In that case, we will refund your order immediately. 

Can I pay afterwards?

We only start the process of your order and arrange transport when the payment is made in advance

Are the prices including taxes?

Additional import duties and taxes which can be applied are the responsibility of the buyer.
